Asphalt Paving in Lantzville
Nanaimo Paving lays and repairs asphalt driveways throughout the District of Lantzville, its own municipality on the coast north of Nanaimo. A driveway access permit from the District costs $200.00 and is submitted through Cloudpermit, and we put your application together with you before we order any asphalt.
Resurfacing sound asphalt costs $3.50 to $6.00 a square foot; on a 400 to 600 square foot driveway that is $1,400 to $3,600.
What we pave in Lantzville
Where a long approach off the road is still gravel, we excavate the gravel, build a base and pave over it. Where there is already asphalt we either lay a fresh surface course on top or, if the old surface has gone past that, we take it out and put down a new driveway.
The District's driveway access permit
You need one for a new driveway access, and for changing an existing one. The fee is $200.00. You submit the application on the District's own form, filled in, along with a survey showing where the driveway is proposed to go. How the application goes in
You submit everything through Cloudpermit, in its own workspace. Staff at the District check it over and come back to you if something is missing, and you download the approved permit from there once it is granted.
